Polisse, this fascinating sprawl of a French police drama centers on a dozen men and women who work for the Child Protection Unit in Paris. To our eyes, though, they appear less like hard-nosed cops than members of a scraggly English department: They dress like bohemians, play art-house charades, and wistfully philosophize about their broken marriages. They also interview suspected pedophiles (and the children who may or may not be telling the truth about them) with a casual, inquiring sensitivity that makes them seem, at times, like well-meaning amateurs. The film can be rambling and glib, yet it’s no mere crime drama. It captures a middle-class French society that looks more humane than ours, but is just as messed up. (Also available on VOD) B

Chandrachur singh daag the fire

Ravi Verma is an unprincipled lawyer, who will bend the law to seek an acquittal for his clients. Karan goes on a rampage grievously injuring Ravi and killing his wife Kajal. After the attack, Ravi is left in a comatose condition and has no recollection of his past life while Tejeshwar and his friends plot to bring back Ravi’s memories by hiring a look-alike of Kajal. Will this succeed in helping Ravi regain his memory? How far will Karan go to seek his revenge?

Mila Kunis and Mark Wahlberg were at the MTV Movie Awards 2012 to present an award and, at the same time, promote their upcoming comedy “Ted.” Their presentation was interrupted by a very rude heckler.

Mila was taken aback by the rude remark, but Mark swiftly jumped in to save her honor, joking about how he’d thought he “would have to slap [host] Russell” Brand but might have to change his plans.
After the show, MTV caught up with the muscular actor (second video), who explained that he found the heckler’s remark very “vulgar” and that’s why he got so upset.
“When I came onstage, some random heckler in the crowd said something vulgar to Mila,” Mark told Josh Horowitz of MTV.
“So that’s why I got a little upset. I did say somebody was going to get slapped, but I figure it’s Sunday, I went to church, I’m feeling forgiving right now,” he added.

Dhak dhak” girl Madhuri Dixit is increasingly under attack by politicians from her native state Maharashtra over issues like acting pricey to endorse state tourism and her failure to attend the state film awards.

“Madhuri Dixit charging high for being the brand ambassador of Maharashtra is such a disgrace! When it comes to your own soil..one should be selfless! Shame!” tweeted Nitesh Rane, Swabhimaan Sanghatana chief and son of Industries Minister Narayan Rane, today.
He was commenting on reports that Madhuri turned down an offer to be brand ambassador for Maharashtra Tourism as MTDC could not offer her the fee she sought. Madhuri also faced heat from a senior minister in the Congress-NCP government over not attending a recent state government film awards function, where she was to be honoured.
“This is a state honour, a token of the love of 11 crore citizens. Some stars were free to receive other awards two days ago, but are tied for time to receive a government honour,” Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar had said at the function.

Shreya states that she never thought she would get an award for a Malayalam song as the language isn’t easy. She thanked M Jayachandran, the composer of the song, for giving her a lovely song like that and helping her to do justice to it.

She never gains much weight even after eating heavy foods but on the other hand, she (Parineeti herself) instantly gains a lot of weight if she eats heavily. Parineeti tells that she hates doing exercises. She goes on saying that she is a Punjabi girl and she loves food simply. Chopra reveals that she was much fat and used to wear the jeans of 36 sizes.
For the movies, she tells that she goes to gym only a month prior to the shooting. She avoids work outs and she mentions that for last one month, she did not do any work out.
