When you realize you have an ant problem in your home, you typically want to take care of the problem fast and easily. However, it can be difficult to know which methods will take care of the ant infestation in the quickest and most simple way. Spray the ants with a store-bought product or make one yourself. Fill a spray bottle with water and add a few drops of peppermint oil. Spray the ants with either option when you see them and it will instantly kill the pests.
Find the anthill and destroy it. Pour boiling water on the hill to immediately kill the ants and eliminate their home. You can also mix water and citrus peelings in a blender and pour the solution over the anthill. Both methods will kill the ants on contact.
